Job Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a Wound Care RN to provide specialized treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds. This role involves wound assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, and negative pressure wound therapy.
- Educate patients and families on wound healing and prevention.
- Maintain infection control and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications:
- License: Active RN license (unrestricted).
- Certifications: Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) – Preferred.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of wound care experience.
- Other: Flexible scheduling with some weekend and holiday work required.
